I love a perfectly brewed cup of espresso. It’s bold and rich, and even a small cup delivers a flavorful impact that leaves you inspired and energized.

That’s how I feel about life. And that’s how I feel about creative design.

I believe in living life with passion. I believe in the inspired energy of creativity. I believe in campfires and conversations. And I know all of this makes me the designer I am today.

This love affair with all things creative started when I was a kid. Growing up in a household of creatives and makers, I tested my wings by learning to sew, embroider, knit, crochet, paint and build things out of anything you can imagine.

My fascination with figuring things out and finding solutions that combine creativity with practicality led me to a career that’s included work as a junior designer at a car magazine, a designer for a direct mail ad company, the art director for a retail packaging company, and the creative director at a pharmaceutical company.

It’s led me to create award-winning designs, to be featured in industry-leading publications, and to help companies increase their bottom-line through strategic and impactful branding.

Ultimately, it led me here, to the creation of Expresso Design. The wings I tested as a child now carry me to new heights of creativity as a Brand Innovator trusted by my clients to build their print and digital identity.

On the weekends, you can still find me having conversations over campfires. Or playing boardgames with friends. Or geeking out with my husband at DragonCon. Or cooking some incredible vegan recipe I saw on a Facebook video.

Whether I’m designing websites and print materials or sewing my next cosplay costume, I do it from a place of inspired creativity. That’s my passion, and I love sharing it with others. I also love hearing what other people are passionate about, so I hope you’ll drop me a line!
